Covelo Group is seeking administrative professionals for a Patient Services position in Palo Alto! In this role you will support the surgical department of a major Bay Area medical center by providing administrative assistance and maintaining patient scheduling. Our ideal candidate has a professional attitude and strong communication skills, in addition to experience supporting medical operations as and administrative assistant.

About Your Day-to-Day:

  • Perform patient registration and insurance verification.
  • Schedule radiology appointments for assigned patient population.
  • Maintain database of appointments, patient information, and pre/post-operative instructions.
  • Screen phone calls/emails and route them to the proper department.
  • Complete other basic clerical duties as requested.

Skills You Will Need:

  • 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or clinical scheduler in a medical facility.
  • Experience supporting radiology or surgery departments preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and basic medical terminology.
  • High school diploma; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
