The Covelo leadership team has a unique combination of industry and technology solutions expertise. Their areas of focus within the engineering and construction industry include heavy project management, technology-related startup companies and development and management of recruiting systems. Dave, chief executive officer, co-founded the Covelo Group in 2008. Dave brings more than 18 years of experience in strategic staffing, recruitment, outsourcing and consulting services.

Prior to starting the Covelo Group, Dave held several positions with leading staffing firms throughout the country. Dave led the sales and operations at Visilent, a managed services provider focused on the engineering and construction industry. Shortly before joining Visilent, Dave served as a director for a leading staffing services company in Chicago and assisted in the pioneering of the vendor-on-premise strategy, a tactic Covelo currently employs. While with the Chicago-based firm, Dave secured more than 14 major accounts and helped increase company revenue from $30 million to $500 million within an 8-year period. Dave has also worked with the Consulting Services Group of Norrell Corporation, where he specialized in business process engineering. Dave serves on the Board of Directors for Houston Technology Center, Rice Global E&C Forum, and Girls on the Run Greater Houston

Dave holds a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology and Physical Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Brandon Gallagher, chief technical officer, is the co-founder of Covelo Group. Brandon has more than 12 years experience in software product development with a specialty in leveraging technology to streamline business processes.

Prior to starting Covelo Group, Brandon worked with Visilent, a managed services provider, where he oversaw the design and development of the vendor/staffing management system and recruiting application. Brandon has also worked with Viant, a software development firm, where he assisted with the design of a staffing system for a large investment bank. Before joining Viant, Brandon was an employed as an engineer with both small and large companies, including a manufacturing division of Sony.

Brandon holds an MBA from University of Washington, a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University and has completed post-graduate coursework in Software Engineering at Portland State University.
