Founders Dave Lee and Brandon Gallagher first realized there was a significant drop in the number of top engineering talent as the two worked for a staffing strategy firm in the industry. Both Dave and Brandon found that companies in this industry were faced with serious challenges, notably an aging workforce. As talent retired, engineering firms and construction companies were left with a severe shortage of middle management employees prepared to move into these positions. Finding talent to fill these positions was increasingly expensive and tedious - leading to staffing shortages, undeliverable projects and, ultimately, contract losses.
